Moomaw
Channeling the psychedelic sounds of 60s pop music through nostalgic folk and Western, Moomaw creates real gone, intimate music. It may be yodeling country with only a ukulele, or a barrage of cascading, jangly textures. Moomaw builds live loops of hand percussion, singing saw, dulcimer, synthesizer and other toys, heavily saturated with effects for a tumbling sensation of organic sound, at once reminiscent of psychedelic folk from the 60s, country and, oft-times put forth with the energy of classic disco.
